Kelp encrusting bryozoan
Latin Name:	Membranipora membranacea
Geographic Range:	I'm not sure, probably at least Alaska to California.
SCUBA Divers Info:
A colony of small animals that can cover large parts of kelp leaves expecially bull and giant kelp. Each little square is home to a single animal.
Beachwalkers Info:
Pick up any piece of kelp that has been washed up on to the beach and you are likely to find this bryozoan on it.
