SCUBA Divers Info:
A very common fish in B.C. waters especially above 50 feet. The male and female Kelp greenlings look very different, the above photo is a MALE (I'm working on getting a female). the male is distinguished by a greenish body and white to blue spots on the front half. The female on the other hand has more of a brown body with smaller spots covering the entire body.
**B**Beachwalkers Info:
This animal does not usually inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling.
