| SCUBA Divers Info: |
| Lingcod are a territorial fish you can go back and find the same fish again and again. In late winter to spring females (the larger of the sexes) lay a large mass of pure white eggs and the male actively guards this egg mass. A lingcod guarding eggs will have no reservations about attacking a diver, although I've never heard of any injuries resulting it can give you quite a start. |
Beachwalkers Info: |
| This animal does not usually inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling. |
