| SCUBA Divers Info: |
| A signature species of British Columbia Its hard to confuse an Octopus with anything else. The Pacific octopus can get to an impressive size of 12 foot arm span and 60kgs. There are other species in B.C. such as the Red octopus (Octopus rubescens) which is much smaller. Many people have some trouble finding Octopus when they start diving but once they discover the signs it becomes much easier. Look for the Octopus' garden of discarded shells and crab-parts.
