Opalescent nudibranch
Latin Name:	Hermissenda crassicornis
Geographic Range:	Range is Alaska to Baja, and also Japan.
SCUBA Divers Info:
A colourful Aeolid small specimens are often found on kelp blades, larger specimens are on the rocks. The colourful gills and 'racing strip' in the center of the back are good identification clues.
Beachwalkers Info:
On low tides it is possible to find small opalescent nudibranchs in kelp.
