| This may be the largest nudibranch, I'm not sure. I've seen 18
inch specimens. They are always bright orange with a band of
whitish gills that ring the lower edge of the body. They are
found in current or high surge areas. Its also said that they are edible! |

| This animal does not inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling. |
