Puget Sound rockfish
Latin Name:	lsebastes emphaeus
Geographic Range:	Range is from Alaska to northern California.
SCUBA Divers Info:
This is a small rockfish say max 8 inches. I usually see it below 40 feet in southern British Columbia but farther north it seems to be shallower. This fiish has a golden look and sometimes forms large schools next to rocks and walls.
Beachwalkers Info:
This animal does not normally inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling.
