Geographic Range:	Range is from Alaska to California.

The Ratfish is a cartilaginous fish or a sharks relative. It is usually found in deep water but often will come shallower at night where it's eye will shine back at you light like those of a cat.
Beachwalkers Info:
This animal does not inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling.
