Latin Name: Crepidula adunca
Geographic Range: I don't really know the range of this animal but in BC it is found in exposed coastal areas.
SCUBA Divers Info:
Slipper shells are found living on the shells of other mollusks where they eat the algae that grows on the shell. Some snails have many slipper shells on them. The species seems to perfer blue top snails.
**B**Beachwalkers Info:
This animal does not inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling.
