Geographic Range: This nudibranch ranges worldwide in colder oceans.
SCUBA Divers Info:
Perhaps a bit of a drab aeolid but still interesting. The name comes from the gills which are very thick on the back. To find this animal look for its food, which is anemones and it seems to perfer plumose anemones. I always have good luck looking in clumps of small plumose anemones.

This animal does not inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling.
