Geographic Range:	Range is from Alaska to Baja.

Striped perch usually form schools in shallow water around rocks, they are a very common sight. When the light hits this fish just right it can be quite colourful.

TLooking down from a dock you will often see lots of perch of several species, also walking in water with shallow rocky bottoms you can find perch.
