Comments:
On this Saturday I had the opportunity to go diving with Porpoise Bay charters on the Sunshine Coast. I was impressed with the operation and enjoyed both dives we did. Our first dive was a site called Skaikos Point.

This is a wall dive, the best kind of dive there is at least according to Terina (wife/dive buddy). Not only is it a wall but it is a wall with a large number of cloud sponges, another of Terina's favourites. I certainly enjoyed it too.

Several things stood out on the dive in addition to the cloud spoonges. We saw at least seven juvinile yelloweye rockfish and one large sub-adult, quite a haul for one dive. Then there were the jellyfish, lots and lots of them. There were cross jellies, hanging mouth, comb jellies and several other types. it might have been the most I've seen in one spot.

We also found a great little decorator warbonnet in a sponge. A great dive that I would definately do again, perhaps in a few weeks when we go back to Porpoise Bay Charters for a full weekend.
