Comments:
Today was Oceans Day and every year as part of the celibrations for oceans day there is a party at Whytcliff Park in West Vancouver. Whytecliff was Canada's first marine protected area.

I have volunteer here for the past 5 years collecting animals to show visitors so that they can better understand what they are protecting. of course all anuimals are returned to the ocean and every care is taken to insure none are harmed. Basically it is echinoderm day since they are the toughest when it comes to being collected. Also most people are amazed at the colour, variety and abundance of seastars and their relatives. Sunflower stars which can get 3 feet a cross are always a hit.

Anyway that was the purpose of this dive and it was another successful Oceans Day.
