Dive Profile:
Down in center of channel by large reef. Current was quite stong in center. Moved over to left (west) side and into slacker water and drifted up and back. West side had a small wall.

Photo Comments: Some difficulty with current at start. First photos I have of stalked jellyfish.
*** Fish:
kelp and painted greenlings, striped perch, bufflo sculpin, black, quillback and yellowtail rockfish.
*** Cnidarians:
plumose, fish-eating and whitespotted anemones, zoanthids, octocoral, encrusting hydrocoral, orange and brown cup corals, GREEN STALKED JELLYFISH, thread hydroids, pinkmouth hydroids, orange hydroids.
*** Nudibranchs:
flabellina vercosa, sea lemon, leopard dorids
*** Echinoderms:
blood, leather, vermillion, sunflower, mottled and striped sea stars, red urchins, pedal cucumbers.
*** Univalves:
keyhole and white cap limpets, bluetop snails, abalone, red turbin snails, worm snails.
*** Bivalves & Polyplachapora:
lined and red chitons, mopelia chitons, rock scallops, jingle shells.
*** Sponges:
boring sponge, polymastia sponge, red? encrusting sponge
*** Lophophorates:
northern and southern staghorn byrozoan, lacy bryozoan.
*** Tunicates:
sea peanut, broadbased and pastel compound tunicates.
*** Worms:
calcareous and giant white calcareous tubeworms.
