Down anchor to reef top, counter-clockwise around reef and then explore area of anchor.

Photo Comments: Variety of photos testing exposure and framing. Tried lobed tunicate with poor results.

copper rockfish, lingcod (2 egg masses), scaly head sculpin, kelp and painted greenlings, longfin sculpin.
*** Cnidarians:
plumose anemones!, fish-eating, white spotted and tubedwelling anemones, seapens.
*** Nudibranchs:
clown nudibranchs, leopard, sea lemon and white dorids, cockerell's dorid.
*** Echinoderms:
blood, vermillion, leather, sunflower, rose and mottled stars, red and purple urchins, pedal cucumbers.
***Arthropods:
decoroator and sharpnose crabs, red hermit crabs, some small shrimp on seapen.
*** Univalves:
blue top snails, abalone, white cap limpets.
*** Bivalves & Polyplachapora:
rock scallops (lots), red and lined chitons, mopelia chitons.
*** Sponges:
boring sponge, other encrusting sponges
*** Lophophorates:
southern staghorn bryozoan, lacy bryozoan.
*** Tunicates:
broadbased, strawberry, sea peanut and lobed tunicates.
*** Worms:
calcareous tube worms
