Followed wall back towards Nanaimo, we could have gone much deeper on the wall. Came back up over the wall and along shallower bottom towards shore. Current could be an issue here -------------------- ***Fish*** copper rockfish, quillback rockfish, lingcod, gobies, scalyhead sculpins, longfin sculpins ***Cnidarians*** Lots of crimson anemones, plumose anemones, christmas telias ***Nudibranchs*** opalescent nudibranch, three-lined aeolid, white knight dorids (5), giant swimming dendronotid. ***Echinoderms*** blood star, leather star, sunflower star, vermillion star, purple star, rose star, California cucumber, orange cucumber, salt and pepper cucumber, red urchin, green urchin. ***Arthropods*** lots of candy strip shrimp, sharpnose crab, decorator crab, Oregon crab, hermit crabs, giant barnacles. ***Univalves*** blue top snail, frilled dogwinkle, leafy hornmouth, oregon triton, wrinkled amphissia, china hat limpet, hooded puncturella, rough keyhole limpet. ***Bivalves & Polyplachapora*** lined chiton, red chiton, swimming scallop, jingle shell. ***Sponges*** boring sponge, boot sponge, cloud sponge. ***Lophophorates*** kelp-encrusting bryozoan, lacy bryozoan, northern staghorn bryozoan, rabbit ear bryozoan. ***Tunicates*** bristly tunicate, broad-base tunicate, strawberry tunicate, transparent tunicate, warty tunicate. ***Worms*** calcareous tubeworms, giant white calcareous tubeworms. ***Algae*** red algae, laminaria.
