God's
Pocket Resort
With a name like God's Pocket Resort you expect good things and
you won't be disappointed. This resort is located on Hurst Island
about 1 to 1 1/2 hours boat ride northwest of Port Hardy. The diving here is current
swept and colour rich. Names like Browning Wall and Hunt Rock are
sure to come up when B.C. divers get together to talk. One of the
key species seen here is Soft coral, it colours almost every dive
site.
God's Pocket also has nice accommodations (small hotel like) and a
great jet powered 48 foot dive boat (the Hurst Isle) with
multiple exit and entry point to get you into the water fast. A
zodiac style chase boat accompanies you on all dives for added
safety and flexibility.
