This is a tribute page to a wonderful dog. Spanky finally transferred to another dimension late Friday -- February 28th., 1997. The picture is taken from some video footage of her beating the crap out of a tennis ball (what else?!) in the back yard of the Fedirko home (Calgary, AB) just before our Yukon trip in '95. Check back sometime for our favorite annecdotes of a dog with a great big grin.

We believe that she was a Boston Bull Terrier (reverse coloring) and was about 14 years old -- pretty darn good for the breed. Erin tucked her into bed on Friday evening. She looked up at her all happy, but too tired to move into a nicer position, and Erin sirmised that this might be her last night.

We miss you Spanky!
