Shares of $750 to $1500.00 must be purchased and a lease signed to secure the right to move in. Associate shares for spouse/partner may also be purchased for $10.00 (gives equal voting rights) Both shares will be refunded when the member moves out of the co-op less any money owed to the co-op. The co-op will use the interest on the share purchase to help the operating cost of the co-op. Share Purchase: For all market apartments - $1000.00 For all market townhouses - $1500.00 For all rent supplement units - $750.00 Members share the benefits of not-for-profit housing. Co-op units cannot be bought or sold. There is no profit taking by a landlord, as we are our own landlords. Housing charges (rent) are based on actual operation costs, mortgage cost, etc. Current Housing Charges & Minimum Family Income Requirement as of September 1, 2005
