The Society of Educational Resource Groups (SERG)

The Society of Educational Resource Groups (SERG) is a consortium of organizations and agencies which provide school and community educational opportunities, through extension activities and visitations to member sites. SERG's purpose is to promote and enhance, through educational and interpretive programming, an awareness, understanding, appreciation and commitment to our natural and cultural resources.

SERG Members serve southern Alberta and the Calgary region

The SERG Membership includes highly qualified professionals and organisations implementing programs that represent the full spectrum of the Alberta Curriculum. From the arts to the sciences, and from off campus programming for school groups to in-services for educators, teachers, schools, community and home school groups will find SERG a valuable resource for alternative learning opportunities.

Calgary City and Palliser Teachers' Convention

Look for the SERG logo at the Calgary and Palliser teachers' conventions! Every year, many SERG members exhibit and speak at Calgary and area conventions. Members display the SERG logo and will be happy to tell you more about the organization and where to access information on education programs and opportunities.
