Where we met, our first trip, and probably our favorite destination...

We met just before Christmas in 1997 and spent Christmas and New Years in Sydney with other travelers who had been in the hostel long term.  The real "Backpacking Australia" pictures start in 1998.  But take a peek below to see how we ended 1997.
