Oman
My boss told me I had to go to Oman, and who was I to say no to a paid trip to such an interesting place? My only regret was I was only there for 3 days. I tried to make the most of the trip, and was most lucky to have a local colleague, Ali Naamani, to show me the sites. The picture gallery is quite short because the number of daylight hours is surprisingly short. The night was black by 19.00, and thus ended my picture taking opportunity (since it was a work trip, I was expected to work during prime picture taking hours). Luckily my trip was at the beginning of April so the temperature was still pleasant, although the natives were complaining that it was already getting to be too hot and soon the horrible humid summer months would be there (temperatures reaching 50°C). However, after the rainy weather of Holland, I enjoyed the 35°C. Take a look through the gallery below to catch a small glimpse of what Oman has to offer.
