What: Yong Maeng Jong Jin is the Korean name for a short intensive meditation retreat. The literal meaning of the words is "to leap like a tiger while sitting".

A YMJJ is an excellent opportunity to get a glimpse into our true nature and to clear our mind of habitual thinking.  It also generates energy for sustained practice in our daily lives.

The retreat will include practice of chanting, prostrations walking and sitting meditation. We will be observing silence throughout the retreat. Participants will also take part in a one-on-one Kong-An interview with the teacher each day.

Participation for only one or two days is also possible. Entry is early before the start of the daily schedule, or during breaks around breakfast, lunch and dinner time (see schedule below).
