- Well we finally got rid of our 1988 Olds, which just surpassed 250,000 KM's. On Monday we purchased a 2003 Buick Century from Southtown Chrysler. I admit it looks a bit like something your grandpa would drive, but its got a very smooth ride, its quite, sleek, safe, and got some power. Its a perfect family car. And lets face it people, I have a family! I will take some good pictures of it soon and post them on here. So stay tuned. Here is a spec sheet of my car.

- Great news today, my sister gave birth to her third child today. A healthy Baby boy named Ashton, 8 Pounds 10 ounces, at 23 and a half inch's long. My brother 'n law only got stopped twice by the police on the way to the hospital. What a guy, blowin' red lights and speeding. But none the less they didn't get any tickets and made it safe with time to spare. I will post some pictures once I get them devolved and scanned.

- We finally received our wedding pictures on the weekend. Lets see it only took six months to received them. I guess I should be happy with just getting them. Truthfully I am not really impressed with them at all, there isn't any that can be blown up to send to family or anything. I'll post a few in the photo album. That's all for today!

Wednesday September 1, 2004

- Wow time sure fly's by, now that I'm a husband and a father, I've been working as much as I can to support our little family, which most of you know I never favored work to much, which makes it even more amazing. But I'd have to say I am starting to like the rigs, in that love hate sort of way.
Madison is already 16 months old now, she's growing up so fast right before my eyes. I've really started to appreciate how much my parents did for me, all they're time and effort, and the love they showed me. If you don't do these things for your child now, they'll grow up before you can do the same. She's getting really smart to, kind of learning to count to five. She also mimics lots of words now, speaking up a storm.
I think Kristy is starting to grow on me, (he he) kidding of course. seriously though Kristy just started a new job here in town, at the Flower Cart. She's only worked a couple times so far, but seems to really like it. It makes for a busy life for us all, but we all stick together through our rough times.
But that's all I have to say for this entry, we'll talk to you all some other time.

Saturday May 8, 2004
- Hello all, I hope that everyone is doing fine. I'm doing alright here, working tons lately which is good and bad, but hey its a job right. Kristy and Madison are doing good to, Madison is getting teeth like no tomorrow, she already has 11 teeth! She sure is growing up fast, motoring around the apartment at full tilt. Kristy is getting a little cabin fever in this place. We want to move to a house soon, something with a little more room and a yard. But we try to keep things interesting, like smearing our supper on each other. Yes you heard me right, smearing our supper on each other! I took some pictures so you could see this act of abuse on me. Click here to see them!

- Well its been almost a month now since I've been married. Its been great, everything is going pretty smooth, I mean we aren't divorced yet, better then Britney. As much as it might not seem any different considering that we were living together for all most a year and a half. But I can truthfully say that it feels more like our own little family.
Also I am selling my computer now, to make room for a huge upgrade. Click on the link there to see all the specs for my machine.

Saturday March 13, 2004

- Wow I can't believe it, just over 6 days left before I get married! Time has gone by so fast its hard to believe, I'm pretty happy that I'm not stressin' over everything to much, which is good because this is one of the biggest decisions of my life.
But just to shake things up a little I decided to knock some pieces of my front teeth at work! Yes you read that correctly, CRACKED MY TEETH! Click here to see a picture of them yourself. Ewww that's an ugly picture of my teeth, but I'm getting them fixed just under the wire before the wedding, on the 18th. Hopeful this will be the most exciting thing to happen to me, Kristy, or Madison before the wedding. I hope to see you all there on Saturday.

- Well I finally received my telus modem, I can tell you I am not impressed with the 15 day extra wait but I think its worth it. As you can see my test results are ALOT better with my telus then with the Cable internet. I am pleased with the change.

Monday February 9, 2004
- Yesterday I added a page for Kristy to display her pictures. You can find it in the right frame. Other then that I still haven't received my Telus DSL modem which was supposed to be here on the 5th. I'm starting to think that there isn't any internet providers that will come close to Shaw's service. I'll make up my mind once I receive the modem and test the speed.

- Enough is enough! I am fed up with my cable internet from Northern Cablevision LTD. It has been a frustrating and terrible experience from the start. First off with my 30kb connection for the first week, later with the constant disconnects, down times and bad Lag. For instance here is a bandwidth test I completed online. Click on test results to go directly to the test site.
Now I admit that this was a good day for the test, but not even close to there quoted download rate of a 3.5mb file in 10 SECONDS! I finally signed up for Telus Enhanced DSL which is 2.5mb download, and the same price as my Cable internet right now. They say I should have everything hooked up with Telus on the 5th of this month, and I will be able to see if there's any difference in quality between the two. Or if its just this stupid small town that I live in. I will update you on the progress when I have time.

- The photo album is going to be going through some major changes. I just bought a new scanner, a Canon LiDE 80, and will be adding many photo's that I have in my stash. Other then that things are going very well planning the wedding, well in actuality Kristy is the one doing most of the planning, and she's doing a great job with it.

- Well another year has gone by, 2003 has brought about allot of happiness with a little despair. I can't believe that its already 2004, it seems like yesterday that I was only 19 and it just turned 2000. I'm looking with great optimism this year, first and foremost with my and Kristy's wedding which is only a little over two months away! Also this May 1st Madison will turn 1 year old, she sure has grown, and developed so much over the course of these eight months! I can't wait to see what the coming years will bring.

Monday November 10, 2003
- I can't believe how long its been since I have updated this site! A little over a month now. Time flys when your busy I guess, and man have I been busy. I've moved to Wainwright, started my new job, found an apartment, and moved Kristy and Madison down. My new job is alright, I know I am not a "Rigger for life" but I will work there for awhile to pay bills and the sorts. For instants we have worked the past 14 days straight 10 hours of work 2 hours travel. But anyway I have little time now so the site won't go through much work for the next while. Talk to you all later!

Today I received my W.H.M.I.S. , Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), CAODC Driver Training Certificate, and Fatigue Management certificates. I started training for my Air Brake Certification which should be done on Thursday. I'll get my First Aid Wednesday and Thursday, and my H2S on Friday. Yes its starting to be a crazy week, but it has to be done since I start work on Tuesday.

Monday October 6, 2003
- Well it looks as though the IT industry has failed me. Starting Tuesday 14th I will be moving to Wainwright Alberta to start a new job for Lanco. Is this a high tech IT job? NO, its to be a roughneck on an oil rig. Not really related to my $15,000 worth of IT training, but much more money then the kinda jobs that I seem to be able to get; as an example a helpdesk agent at Convergy's for $10 hour, oh and lets not forget the 50¢ raise that I received after 6 months. I am sure it will beat that job hands down! I will post updates on how things are going after I get my internet hooked back up.

- Today I applied to design the web site for the Spruce Grove Library which I came across in The Grove Examiner. I hope to get this contract so I can gain some experience in web designing. I have created a bunch of run of the mill web sites for myself, but now running my own server at home has really gave me a push in this direction. I will let everyone know of the out come to this once I find out.
