In the name of God Amen.
I the Reverend Thomas Cubbon Clerk Vicar General in the Diocese of Sodor and
Mann being of sound mind memory and understanding but considering the
uncertainty of this mortal life do make this my last will and testament in
manner following:
First I commit my soul to God and my body to be decnetly buried at the
discretion of my executrix.
Item:  I give devise and bequeath unto my three daughters share and share
alike namely to Ann, Elizabeth and Maria my one half of the mortgages to
which I am entitled upon the lands of John Crow of Aust. Item:  I give
devise and bequeath to my said three daughters Ann, Elizabeth, and Maria
share and share alike my one half of all my purchased lands as well
quarterland as intack land wheresoever they be situate and also my one half
of the quarters of Corna Sewage and Ballaure Watercorn Mills with all the
advantages and appurtenances to said mills belonging. They my said daughters
in consideration thereof from and after the decease of the longer liver of
us my wife and self paying  the yearly sum of twenty pounds British to my
son William Cubbon and Margaret his wife during their natural lives and the
life of the survivor of them for their own support and maintenance but the
said annuity is not  hereby intended to be made payable to or recoverable by
any person or persons who may be creditors or a creditor of the said William
Cubbon or Margaret his wife.
Item:  I give devise and bequeath to my said three daughters share and share
alike my one half of the interest yearly arising from and out of the monies
remitted from India by our son Capt Mark Cubbon for us and by Col Mark
Wilkes placed at interest in England and Scotland and in the event of one of
our said daughters or two of our said daughters dying without lawful issue
the share or shares of her or them so dying to be possessed by the survivors
or survivor and also in the event of my son or daughter or any of them
marrying the legacies or legacy aforsd is not to be subject to the control
of the husband if any of them.
Item:  I leave unto my daughter Margaret Rimmer one hundred pounds British.
Lastly - Leaving six pence to all legal claimers.
I nominate constitute and appoint my beloved partner Margaret  Cubbon
otherwise Wilkes sole executrix and residuary legatee of this my last will
and in the event of my surviving my beloved wife then and in such case I
constitute and appoint my said three daughters Ann , Elizabeth and Maria
executrixes of this my last will hereby revoking and making void any will by
me at any time heretofore made.
In witness whereof I have hereto put my hand and seal this nineteenth day of
April one thousand eight hundred and twenty one.
