In the name of god Amen the last Will and
testament of William Quartine wch departed
this life the 7th of January as followeth
First I commend my soule into the hands of al
mightie god my creator, and to Jesus Christ
my redeemer, by whome I believe to be saved
and all mankind. item I will that my
bodie be brought to Christian buriall
item I bequeath to my sister Margaret [Quartine]
one sheepe, item to Jonie Quartine one sheepe
item to my brother Richard Quartin six pence
legasie. item to the said Richard one sheepe
and 1 lambe. item to the poore 3 halfe forletts
of corne and a mutton. Item I doe constitute
and ordaine John and Jonie Quartin my law
full executors of all my goods movable & unmo
vable
