In the name of god Amen the last will and testament of Isible Quartine
who departed this life the third daye of January last, being sicke in body
but whole in mind and of perfect memorie thanks be to god as fol
loweth. First I bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmighty God
and my bodye to christian buriall. I bequeath to my Daughter Mar
garet Callowe with the consent of husband Donald Callowe five poundes
seaven boules of ottes, and two boules of mault: I doe ordaine and ap
point my daughters legittimately begotten vidz: Jonie Callowe ,Ann,
Issable, Catherine, and Anne Callowe executrices of all my goods mo
veable and unmoveable, and further to my foresaid daughter Jonye one
young heffer: I doe constitute my husband Donald Callowe supervisor of
the said children: Item I bequeath to my brother Evan Quartine one pair
of stockines, one fleece of woole, and one sheepe hogge. Item I bequeath
to my husband halfe the rideing horse, and a quarter of the fishinge boate.
Item to Christian Quartine one lambe, to the poore one forlett of [malt]
one forlett of meale, and a sheepe: probatu est et soluitor - xiid
