In the name of god amen Ricd Quarteen [sick in]
body, but whole in mind [whc thanks be to god] departed this liffe the 8th of
March do make my last will in manner following. Firstly I
bequeath my soule to god and my body to Christian buriall.
Item I leave to the poore 1 fir malt, 1 fir meale and
[?]eep Item To my daughter Mereatt Quartteen 40s 1 boz
malt, 1 fir wheat. Item To the preist and Clearke 1s
Item To my sonne Ricd Quartteen all geares belonging
to the farme. Item I doe Constitute and ordaine my
lawful executors of all my goods moveable and unmoveable
[his] sonnes Ricd, Wm and Jo: Quarteen: Richard Quartin at
lawfull yeares Sworn overseer & to bee [---] & answerable
