The XXI of September 1637
The last will and testament of Anne Quay who comitt[ed]
her soule into the hands if Almighty god & her
body to the earth. It she left to the poore [after] the
discretion of her executor; It she left to her brother
John Quay a boule of barley wch is in his hands
[deleted] It she left to her sister in law Ellin Brid
=son a peticoat & waistcoat [deleted] It
she left to Ellin Qualtrough a waistcoate; It to her
father in law a sheepe; It left and constituted
her lawful executor of all the rest of her goods
moveable & unmoveable her husband Thomas Brid
=son This is her last will and testament It she left a
mutton to [deleted] [ ] for some | Testes George Whetstone
money wch she [owed] him. It she left | Thomas Quarten
to Tho: Quarten & George Whetstone |
a lambe betwixt them.

Whereas the wittneses doe differ concerning some
legasies before mentioned But [ ]
the proving & [ ]of the will [ ]
[ ] herein, they are [ ] therefore
with mutual consent the husband & the brother have
agreed to be [joint] ex'tors & the court hath ratified the
(in the previous hand)
inventory taken by sufficient men; [ ] sworne to
price the goods to the full value; [vide]: Thom's Quarten
