Nicholas Watchen departed this life the 2th of Januarie 
1637 intestate whereof the Church having intelligence 
hath decreed his children legitimately begotten his 
administrators vidz: John, Ellin & Emy Wattson, & the 
mother Supervisor in regard there is none of the fathers 
kinreed in this contrie & a legasie to her upon sight 
of the Invent.  
Salvo tamen vincuig pro jure.  
Decretum probatum est et solvit 1s.                   

Inventory have cowe 12s 6d,      
Itm half sheep 20s;      
Itm half pur[?]  2s;     
Itm the corne  6s 6d;     
Itm, the household stuff & clothes  28s 2d;     
Itm the smithie geares, to be added.                     
Debts claimed by ye execrs wch is referred to ye tryall of Law:   
Robt Moore 1 firlett barley,  
Wm Dobson  10 groats.           
Ye mother to take bonds[?];    
who hath taken Wm Dobson & Gyles Ke----- sureties for ye Invent, 
who have bound ymselves heires & executrs for the same as also to 
[secure ye office] subpoena double ye value usu ----
