54 Tricessimo Die Junii 1637, KK Malew In nominee dei Amen. The last will & testament of Edmond Shimmine who committed hie soule into the hands of the allmightie God & his bodie unto the earth. First to the poore a ferlet of mault and flesh at the discreation of his executors. It, he left to his son Robt Shimine half the house & halfe the grounds (being cottage land). It, hee constituted & ordained his wife his son & his two daughters his lawfull executors of all the rest of his goods moveable & unmoveable, this is his last will & testament, beinge in good & perfect memory. Testes: Tho: Parre curat X, William Brew clearke. Inventory of the goods taken by four sufficient honest men being sworne & priced to the full value as foloweth: Imprimis half the iryne vessels priced to 4d; It, half old cow priced to 12s; It, 2 sheepe priced to 4s; It, 2 sives priced to 2d; It, one little tobe priced to 1d; It, half one barrel priced to 7d; It, half a wheele priced to 4d; It, a little boord priced to 3d; It, 2 pounds of woole priced to 8d; It, half a blanket priced to 16d; It, half a little chist priced to 4d; It, 2 sickles priced to 3d; It, half an old little horse 8d; summa 21s.
