13 KK Christe 6th of August 1637 In the name of God Amen. I John Sayle sicke in bodie but whole in minde and of perfect memories praysed be God, doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following. First, I commit my soule into the hands of Almightie God my Creator and Redeemer and my bodie to Christian burial, etc. Whearas my wife Margarett Kneen did --- all her goods movable and unmovable unto me And maid mee executr I doe bequeath my goods in manner following. Itm, I bequeath to the ministr 12d. Itm, to my sister Margret 12d. Itm, to my sister Annas 6d. Itm, to my brother ---- lawe Cottingham 6d. Itm I constitute and ordaine Donald Lace and Margrett Stevenson my true and lawfull executr of all my goods movable and unmovable. Itm, to John Lace ------. Phillip Crynilt ministr. Ro: Corlett one of --- witnesses doth testify the sd Testator did ------ ---- at Donald ------- ----- Margrett -----. Debts due unto ye sd Testator: Imprimis from Ed: Gill 20s and 10 pottles of barley; Itm from Kathrin Standish 7s; Itm, from Ewan Crowe 3s 4d. The within written wills were both maid at one time in our hering and the wife Margaret Kneein did conscent unto her husbands will before us. Witness our hands: Philip Crynilt minstr, Robart Corlett. Probatud est et Solvit 16d for both wills. The aforenamed wills of Margret Kneene & John Sayle are ----- wth the consent of the execr Donold Lace & Robte Cowl- who was sworne in the behalf of his wife Margrett Stevenson one of the execr, The execr have promised to give a mutton to the poore at all hallowyd, and the rest at there discrecion. Invent of the goods of John Saill and Margaret Kneen his wife: Imprimis one cowe one hefer 2 shepe 2 lambes of kerecloth 3 yeards 3 ould blankets 2 ould barells one crookes one stoud and one damm The executr att yeares of discretion who are bound to keepe the office harmless subpoena double the value. 7ber 30, 1637 Wm Crenylt claimeth agt the execr of Jo: McSaile for the summe of 30s for wch he is referred to tryall of law.
