74 April the 29th 1637, Patrick In nominee Dei amen. It Ales Knickle sicke of body but whole of minde & perfect memory make my last will & testament as followeth. Imprimis, I commit my soule to God & my body to Xtian burial. I leave to the poore at my executrix will & pleasure. Item, I leave to Gilbert Quaine one white sheepe. I constitute & ordaine my daughter Ellin Knickle my sole executrix of all my goods, houses & lands, or whatsoever else doth in any wise belonge unto mee. Item, my will is that John Knickle shall pay my daughter 9s wch he owes me in price of payment for a cow, & 9 stockes of corne, vid: 3 of barley 6 sheaves of wheate & t stockes & salte[?] of oats due from Wm Knickle unto my said executrix. I appoint Gilbert Quaine overseer of my child & to see all things in this my will fulfilled. Testes: Gilbert Quaine, ----lip Knickle. Inventory of the decedents goods: Item one sheepe & half one, Item in money 9s. The executrix is at lawfull yeares & hath bound herself in ye penalty double y value to secure the office
