Archdeacon Will 1637 #75 Patrick of Phinlo Lowny: "

75                       Patrick
In nominee dei amen. I FINLOE LOWNY sicke of body but 
whole of mind make my last will as followeth.  
Inprimis, I commit my soule to God & my body to 
Xtian burial. I leave to the poore 1 firlett of malt 
a pecke of wheat & a pecke of oatmeale.  
It, to my SON JOHN LOWNEY & JONY LOWNEY 1 firlett of 
barley & a boule of oats.  
It, I constitute & ordaine my SON THOMAS LOWNEY my whole 
exect of all my goods moveable & unmoveable, & my will 
is that John Geile shall have the tuition of my said 
SON THOMAS & his lands & noe other upon condicion 
that he mary one of his daughters to my said son & 
my will is that GILBT QUAINE shall see that my said 
child be well used. 
It, I leave to the vicar 1 goose.

INVENTORY OF FINLOE LOWNY & HIS WIFE priced by Jo: Hutchen, 
Finloe Cotter, Jo: Key et Tho: Ratliffe.  
Imprimis, in courne 2 stookes barley 1 of wheate & 9 of oates 
the one halfe thereof small[?] oates, the other placket[?],     
It, 1 oxe 25s & heifer 15s for 40s;     
It, houshould stuff  priced 2s,  
1 blankett ---p--d & 1 paire of harrows & 1 quart of gray woole;     
4 sheepe  6s;   
ye mother will also is included in this Invent.                   

Jo: Geile doth bind himselfe in the penalty of 20 pound to 
mary one of his daughters unto the said THO: CARRAN (sic) if it 
please God he shall come to that yeares of discretion.  
JO: HUTCHEN JUNR: doth bind himselfe in penalty of 20 
pounds that THO: CARRAN[sic] shall performe ye said commitions 
when he becomes to lawfull yeares --- & the said GEILE hath 
taken ye youngest child wth the eldest in consideration of 
the aforesaid match.                     

February 12th 1637: 
John Geile entereth his claime against the execr of FFINLOE LOWNY 
for the summe of 13s 4d for wch he craveth tryall of law.                 

The goods of ye execrs of FINLOE LOWNY & HIS WIFE is in the hands 
of THOMAS CARRAN & PHILLIP TAILOR.       

John Harison & Samuel Ratliffe sureties for half FINLOE LOWNEY'S 
& HIS WIVES Inventory, wch goods are in the custody of Finloe Tailor, 
ye other halfe in the hands of THO: CARRAN JUNIOR & HIS MOTHER.
