Christian Corteen nee Costen, 1637

The testament of Christian Costen wch departed the 21st of 7ber 1637. She 
bequeathed her soule into the hands of almightie god and her bodie to Christian 
burial. She bequeathed to the poore one ferl of mault and halfe ferlet oat meale 
and the rest att discresion. It she bequeathed to her bretheren John and Danald 
Costen one hefer between them of ii years at may next. It to Margret Corteen on 
peticost and wast coat. It to Mariod  Corkill a wastcoat to John Quarke [&] to 
John Corteen 1 sheepe. to her father 7s. It she left to Christian Corten a whit 
blanket for the corbed. It she constituted and ordained her son Ewan Corten her 
true and lawful executor of all her goods movable and unmovable.
