In the name of God Amen, I John Conley am sicke 
in bodie but wholl in mind the lord god be praysed 
for the same, do mak my loast wyll & testament 
in form followinge    
First I bequeath my soule unto the hands of almightie 
god my Creator and redeemer, and my bodie to Christian buriall.   
It, I bequeath to the poore 1 sheep & the rest at my 
brothers discretion.   
It, I bequeath to Wyllm Crow my brethren my part 
of the crofte called Bolly & hoghie.   
Itm, to Ann Conley my sister the cowe that is in 
the kerow kregy or els xxs[20s] monie.    
Itm, I do constitut & ordaine Wylliam Conley my brother 
my true & lawfull execr.

the executr being at yeares of discretion the goods is delivered unto himself 
and Tho: Bettle surtie for the forthcoming of the same in penaltie of double 
the value and free the office:
