KK Christ the 8th of October 1637
In the name of God amen. I John Carrett sicke in bodie
but whole in minde and of perfect memorie praysed be God,
doe make this my last will and testament in manner and
forme followinge.
First, I committ my soule into the hands of almightie God,
my Creator and redeemer and my bodie to Christian buriall etc.
Imprimis I leave unto my daughter Annas one younge sheepe.
It, I leave to my sone Jo: one younge sheepe.
It, to my sonne Phillip Senr 6d legasie.
It, to the minist one hogge.
I constitu apointe, and ordaine my sonne Phillip the younger
my true and lawful executr of all my goods movable and unmovable.
It, to his sonne Wm one lamb.
Testes:
Ed: Crowe minister,
Kathrin Kneen. P----.
The executr is at yeares himselfe, to take his goods wthout
any praysment. Pledge secund for--- juris.
Theese men followeinge viz: Ro: Cotter, and Jonie Casement doth
wittnes that the Testator did in his death bed leave all his
right of the land that hee had unto his sd execut by reason his
sonne Wm did refuse to reliev him in his life tyme.
Further they doe wittnes that his eldest sonne utterlie refuse
him and his ground.

for so much corne as frew upon two dayes plowing of oateland
