Archdeacon Will 1642#25 Braddan of Gilbert Garrett, died 24 May 1643, page 37: (37):
The last will & testamt of Gilbt: Carratt who departed this
liffe the 24th of May 1643. first he bequeathed his soule to
God and his body to Christian buriall.
Item, he left to the poore halfe a firlett of malte and wheate.
Itm, he left to his wife a quarter of a heifer, 1 charcher [i.e., kerchief]
and did constitude and ordaine his sonne his true and lawfull
execr of all his goods moveable and immoveable.
