the testament of Wm Keruish wch depted the 15 day of 7ber 1637.  
He bequeathed his soule into hands of almightie God and 
his bodie to Christian buriall.  
It, he bequeathed to the poore one boule mault halfe ferlet 
wheat half ferlet oat meale 2 sheepe.  
It, he bequeathed to Robt Keruish 2 sheep 1 kines and halfe 
a ferlet barly.  
It he bequeathed to his wyfe the third pte of his crop of 
corne and hay and the one halfe of the corne wch is beyond 
and his pt of the flax and a brood goose and 3 yong geese.   
It, he bequeathed to his brother Wm Keruish the one halfe 
of the corne wch is sowen in his one land and 5 sackes of 
turfe and a sut of clothes wch he did weare everie Day and 
the Clarkes dutie for the p---ce.   
It, to his brother John Keruish his cloke.   
It, to his brother Danald Keruish a paire of breeches.   
To Robt Callow his best jerkin.  
It, he bequeathed to John Christine one crop of the smithes 
----- and one mutton.   
It, to his wyfe and his dauhter a peece of new cloth and 
they to give my sone a shirt of the sayd cloth.   
It, he bequeathed the same to his brother Wm and his wyfe 
until the right heire come and if the farme be taken from 
them then it was my will that they shall sat------- first 
and second crop of my -------[dark spot bottom of page]   
Itm, it is my will that my brother John and my sister 
Mrgaret shall not have my children nor there goods,  
also it is my will that if it please God to call for my 
children befor they come to lawfull yeres then the goods 
to be given to my brethren and sisters Danold, Wm, Katherine 
and Isabell Keruish & no other[?or & mother]  It is my will 
that my sisters Katherine and Isabell shall have the 
tuition of my sonn and his goods also it is my will that my 
sonne shall have my corbes and Wm Cottingam to have the 
keeping of them til my sonne come to lawfull yeres and if 
it please God to call for my sd sonn befor he come to lawfull 
yeres then the corbes to be given to my daughter as goods 
because I bought them wth my money.   
It, he constituted and ordained his children John and Isabell 
Keruish my true and lawfull executr ofall my goods movable 
and unmovable.   
& by the oath of the witnesses, the testator ---- Jo Christian
