In the name of God Amen, I Averick Freere ame
sick in bodie but wholl in mind the Lord God
be praysed for the same, first doe commend my
soule to Almightie god, And my bodie to
Christion buriall.
Itm, I bequeath to the poore [half] ferlett corne.
And 1 goise
Itm to Wyllm Maughton her son iij quarters of
a cowe in consyderation of certaine debt due
unto him that I & my husband do owe unto him,
And 1 shert as a legasie.
Itm, to Ane Maughton her daughter 1 blankett
f iiij yeards And all her wollen & linin cloith
exceipt, the bed cloithes, And one other blanket
of iiij yeards.
Itm, more to the sayd Ane, and Nicolas Covley[?Cowley]
her sonne betwixte them all the linine yearne
that then was wthin undone, And when it were
weaven to gete 1 yearde to Wylm Caine Clerke,
And 1 yeard to Sr John Clerke.
Itm, 1 yeard to Kethern Kerret --- of rough linin,
to Margret Stafford 1 yeard rough linine,
to Bessey Clerke 1 yeard of rough linin.
It, to her soone Nicolas [half] younge steir of
iij yeares old in consideration of certaine debte
that she & her husband ought unto him.
And what remained of the weavinge sheit[?] of
Donald Moughtons sonne. And half a co---
as legasie And the rest of the little house.
Itm to Jonie Frere 1 keare cloath.
It: more to Nicolas her sonne the one half of the corne.
Itm, she constituted and ordained Donald and Anne
Maughton her children her true & lawful execr,
And Wyllm her son supervisor And he to geve the
iij pts of the cowe to him bequeath unto the
execr for halfe----easse ---[?et]
Edmunde Maughton her husband did consent unto this Wyll.
And sayd that it was his last Wyll & testament as
well as hers.

An Inventorie of the goods of Averick Freere as followeth:
First the choushold stuff praysed to ixs[9s]
The boyes pte of iiijs vid the same in the hands
of Tho: Ylvorrie And xviijd in monie due unto the
boy being for his pte of a calfe of a yeare old.
It, in the hands of Joni Freere of the boyes movable
goods For a quarter & a half of a cowe viijs.
It, the wench beinge at yeares of discretion her
pte of the goods movable and unmovable delivered to
her self.
It Wyllm Moughton Senor, & Wyllm Moughton jnr
have bounde themselves in the penaltie of double
the value of the goods for the forth coming of the
goods and to keep the office harmlesse
