September the 23th Anno 1642: I Frances Vernon [or Vernun]
sicke in bodie, butt in good and parfect memorie Gods
holye name bee praysed therefore do make this my last will
and testament in manner and forme followinge:
first I beequeath my soale to Allmightie God in hope
of eternall salvation through the merrittes of my Saviore
Christ Jesus and my bodie to Christian buryall.
Imprimis I leave & bequeth to all my children namely
Edward, Frances, William[?], and John Varnun to every
of them 6d apeece legasie and likewis to my daughter
Ellin Varnun 6d legasie and as for all the rest of my
goods and househould stuffe and all other goods movable
and imovable whatsoever together with all depts [i.e., debts]
dew unto mee: I doe hereby leave and bequethunto my deare
wiffe June Varnun whome I bake my sole executrix: and
in wittnes to this my last will and testament I have
hereunto settt my hand beefore wittnesses the day and
yeare above written videle September the 23th Anno Domi 1642.
Postscript And allso I leave and bequeth to my daughters Issab---[edge of page]
and Penelope Varnun to each of them 6d legacie.
