This is affirmed by the subscribed wittnesses to 
be the last will and testament of Wm Cannell who 
depted this life the ----[dark spot on page] of 
December 1640.    
First he committed his soule to God and his body 
to the earth. To the poore 1 boul malt, 1 firlet 
wheate, 1 bou of oate meale, 1 sheepe, 1 mutton 
& the rest at discrecon.   
Ite, to Hu: Cannell Clarke 1 fir wheate.   
To Donald Canell[?] his suite of apparrell & 1 fir barley.   
To his daughter Jane 4 bo: in malt & wheate for 
her pte of the crop of corne.   
To his daughter Katr Cannell 3 bo: in wheat & malt 
for her pte of the crope.   
To his daughter Anne Cannell 3 bo: of wheate & malt 
for her pte of the crope.   
To his daughter Mrgrett 3 bou: likewise   
a sheepe & a lambe.   
To his wyfe & eldest son the rydinge horse & 
another horse betwixt them out of the whole.   
To his wyfe 1 heffer as a legasie.   
To Mally Qualtrough 1 lambe.   
He constituted his children Donnold, Wm, Rich, 
Jane, Katherin, Anne & Mrgrett Cannell his 
lawfull execr of all his goods moveable & 
unmoveable.  Supervisors Hu: Cannell vicr & 
Donold Cannell.    
Testes: 
Donnold Caine, 
Mallie Qualtrough.       Probatum est & solvit 12d.          

An Inventorie of Wm Cannells goods priced by 4 sworn men viz 
Jo: Craughon, Donold Steane, Don: Teare, Don: Cannell, the 
first day of febr 1640.  
The deads pte of goods  
Imprs  2 oxen 6 yeares old, 1 oxe 9 yeares, 
1 oxen 10 yeares, 1 cow 5 years, one 10 yeares, 
1 heffer 5 yeares, 2 yearelinge bullockes, 
2 horses 9 yeares, 1 mare 12 yeares, 
1 yonge filie colt 2 yeeres  16s.   
8 sheepe & 2 ptes of 2 sheepe  14s.     
5 yeerelinge ho-----[torn] 
the deads pte of the fishinge boate price 10s.
