In the name of God Amen, I Christian Cannell sicke in body -----[dark spot on filmed page] 
whole in mynd, of good & perfect memories God be praysed ----[dark spot] 
make this my last will & testament in manner & forme following:  
First I committee my soule into the hands of almightie God 
my Creator & Redeemer and my body to Christian burial.  
I leave to the poore 3 half fir of malt, half fir wheate, 
2 muttons, & the rest at the execr discrecon.   
Itm, I leave ye vicr a mutton, & to ye Clark a goose.  
Itm, to my sister Ellin Cannell a heifer.  
I leave my husband John Cowley my pte of a yonge horse.   
Itm, I leave to my brother Finlo Cannell x s, and the 
rest of my goods moveable & unmoveable I leave to my 
children Mrgrett & Ellin Cowley and I doe constitute 
them my lawfull Execr.

Whereas Ellin Cannell claimeth a childs part of ye goods ---m

hath sworn it, it a Decretum est.
