The 9th of Januarie ---- 
In the name of God Amen. I John Freere sick in body 
but whole in mynd God be praised doe make this my 
last will & testament in manner & forme following.  
first I committee my soule into the hands of Almightie 
God & my body to Christian buriall.   
It, I leave to the poore 1 boule malt, 1 fir wheate.   
It, I leave to my son Robte the fourth pte of the crope of corne.   
It, I leave to Sr Hugh Cannell 1 boule barly.   
It, I leave Sr John Woods 16d.   
It, I leave my wyfe and all my children my true & 
lawfull execr of all my goods moveable and unmoveable, 
& ---- Vicr: Cannell Supervisors.

Wheras Pat: Freere claimes a childs portion of ye good due 
to him from his brother John the sd Testator, & ---[?here] 
wise ye sd Pat: is now to have 1 cowe & half a calfe 
a yeare old in full satisfaction of the sd portion 
& all other claimes whatsoever, wherwth he is fully contented.

An Inventory of the goods John Freere priced by 4 sworne men John Teare, 
Hugh Calister, Robert Calister, John Canon as followeth:
Impr: 1 oxe 7 yeares old  30s,   
Item,  1 cow 6 yeers old  20s.    
Item,  another cow 4 yeeres old  20.     
2 heffers of 2 yeere old  20s.    
Item, his part of one hores 7 yeere old 17s 10d.    
Item, his part of one old mayre  16d.    
Item, 2 sheepe  4s.     
Item, his pt of one broad goose  12d.    
Item, his parte of an old girdle  three ha penies.    
Item, a plow beame and the rest of the geares 
and little small vessels & a sheive and 1 weight 
all these priced to 2s.
