In the name of God Amen, The 24th of Januarie 1642 
I Mary Quayle sicke in bodye but whole in mind and 
of perfect memories praised be God doe make my last 
will and testament in manner and forme followinge.    
First I committ my soule unto God my Crator and 
redeemer, and my body to Christian buriall etc.   
Itm, I leave and bequeath unto my sonne Edmonde 10s, 
if hee doe come for it.   
Itm,  I bequeath unto my daughter Jaine foure pownds 
if shee doe come for it, other wise that the other 
children are to have the same betwixt them.   
Itm, I bequeath unto both my children Ewan and Kathrin seven pounds.   
Itm, I leave unto my daughter Issable 20s, and my 
whole apparrell, lenen and wollen.   
Itm, I bequeath unto the poore one boule mault wth 
other things fittinge for my funerall.   
Itm, I leave unto the ministr 1 sheep.   
Itm, I constitute appoynte and ordaine my sonne 
John my true and lawfull executr of all my goods movable, 
and unmovable.
