Lonan, March ye 28th 1643
This is affirmed to be the last will & testamt of Willm Cowine.  
First he committed his soule to God & his body to Xrian burial.   
It, to ye poore one firlett malt & ye rest at ye discrecone of 
his execr. It, to his sonn Tho: Cowine 8d. To my sonn Malony 
Cowine 6d. It, to his sonne Phillip Cowine 6d. It, to his daughter 
Ellin Cowine 6d. It, it was his will that if Phillip Quayle 
demanded any debt of his execr that he pay to yem forty shillings 
wch was due to him for the cost of a child of his. 
It, he constituted & ordained his sonne Willm Cowine his true & 
lawfull execr of all ye rest of his goodes movable & unmoveable.

Phillip Quill, 
Willm Lewny, jurati.       Probatu est & Solvit 6d.    

By this Covenant exhibitted in Court Willm Fargher is decreed joynt 
exer wth Willm Cowine & sworne execr.

The 2d of June 1643: 
Malony Cowine entereth his clayme against the execr of Willm Cowine 
for 40s wch was promised him in bargayne of contract and craveth tryall.  

Invent wthin 14 dayes subpoena juris.   Presented.  

The 22 of Maie 1643
Willm Fargher, Willm Caly & Willm Cow---[edge of paper] 
have deposed unto me, that Willm Cowin decease, did promise unto Will---[edge of paper] 
Fargher his sone in lawe, at the contraction wth his daughter ----[?Ellin, edge of paper, dark] 
Cowin, that at the tyme of his death, he would give Fargher ----[edge of page, dark] 
some[?] in l-20s or a porcon of his goods, wch was as much as ----[edge of page] 
his executor shall have; wch procon wth the executor ---- Fa[rgher][edge of page] 
accepted of, & refused the twentie shilings.  Ro: Quaile.
