is ----ed by the subscribed witnesses to be the 
last will & testamt of Gilbt Cowley who depted 
this life ye 21th day of November 1642.   
Hee committed his soule into the hande of Allmightie 
God & his bodie to Christian burial.  
He left to the poore at ye discrecon of his execr:   
It, hee left to his brother Wm Cowley one heffer 
and all the sheep wch he had in his sd bro----[fold] 
keepinge wch what myne he had.   
It, he left to Wm Kerron one yonge sheepe.  
It, to Tho: & Ann Cordeige each of them a sh----[fold] 
hogge.   
It, to Patr: Cordeige a mutton.   
He willed his exec not to trouble his brother 
for his pte of h----[fold] 
fathers crope of corne wch is in his sd brothers hands.   
All the rest of his goode moveable & unmovable 
he left to his mother Jonie Lewin als Cordeige & to Marg---[fold] 
Garret Lewin his sister, and constituted them his execr.
