Sr Wm Norris late Vicr Generall depted this liffe 
the 8th of October ano predict.   
Per me Jacob: Moore

Sir Wm: Norris ----iod 9th October 16--.
This beinge ye second Chapt Court / ----
I Robt Norris doth now onely enter my claime 
& challenge for ye wrongfull detayninge from 
mee the sume of five pounds, aganst the assignes 
of my father Sir Wm: Norris; But also for 
ye dammage, & further losse wch nowe sustayne 
for want of ye enjoyinge, & possessinge of 
a half qter of land wch my ffather estated 
on mee after his decease; as appeareth by 
convenant, in leiwe of my mothers pte, or 
porcon of goods, as further there appeareth: 
All wch ye sd Sir Wm: Norris my good Father 
deceased did bynde himselfe And his assignes 
to performe in ye penaltye of foure hundreth 
pounds et cetera 
Therefore craveth lawe.
