This is ye pall will of Roger Tayler who depted
this lyfe ye fourth of februarye anno domi 1642:
first hee comitted his soule to the almightie
& his bodie to Christian buriall.
Hee bequeathed all his clothes to ye poore;
Alsoe did bequeath all his goods moveable &
unmoveable unto his brother & sister Donolt
& Kathrine Tayller, who hee ordayned to bee
his lawfull Executors. Donold hath relinquished
the executorship & Kathrine hath proved this will.

William Shurlogue, iurati. Probatum est et Solvit 6d.
A true inventorie of ye Deceadents goods praysed by foure sworne
men viz: James Corrine, Wm Reid, Wm Watterson, Wm Kellye.
Imprimis one old cowe priced 24s
Half steere, & 1 hogge priced 10s
Half sole[?] priced to 7s
