Ellin Cosnahan als Fletcher depted this liffe 27th of
December 1644 intestate wherof the Church haveinge
intelligence hath decreed her brothers and sisters viz
Tho: Richard, Mrgrie, & Jaine Fletcher administrators,
and a legasie to her husband upon sight of the Invent
and alsoe to her mother at the descrecon of the Court.
Salvo tamen vuiciug suo iure. Decretum est et Solvit ----.
The Invent of the sd Deceadent amounts to 30 pounds &
one heiffer as appears by the death of her father &
is extant upon record wth Security for ye same for ye
fourth coming of ye goods as alsoe to secure ye office
secondum forma legis.
Itt, more 26s due by ye death of her sister Ann.

ye reverend, and religious Clergy, viz: ----
Hugh Cannell, & Sir James Moore & the rest of this Spirituall Court,
---- John, Humbly Sheweth, yt wheras it hath pleased God (of his great ------)
to call for his loving wife late deceased, viz: Ellin Fletcher
alias Cosnahan, who was espoused to her sd husband before God
themselves this 2 yeeres, ye next Easter, though not in ye
sight of ye world past halfe yeere, or there aboutes since ye
ceremonyes of ye Church were abserved dureing which tyme preffixed[?],
she hath been chargable to her sd husband, who is not able to
ume up ye same yet as neere as he cane gesse, to ye value of
twenty marke seeinge it hath pleased God yt shee hath died untested,
& that through ye ps---tions of sume malignant psons as hee --------.
Therfore hee humbly beseecheth, this religious court to take p-e--sse-
to the auditious[?] c--sed ----- & to allow him her sd husband
such a legasy in conscience, you thinke fit, it not the halfe
of her portion at least as ma---[torn edge]
